Ukrainian environmentalist who is passionate about design. She specializes in creating infographics to visually convey complicated data and facts for UWEC Work Group. She joined the Ukrainian Nature Conservation Group at the start of the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, where she works to this day.
In addition to her work in nature conservation, Valeriya is also part of the MiCT community of young journalists. In 2023, she became a researcher at the National Geographic Society (National Geographic Explorer). Valeria is also involved in the “What do we owe to wetlands?” where she develops educational materials for school children to learn about Ukraine’s Polissia Wetlands.
